Leigha Sinnott is a New York based actor and writer.

Leigha is excited to be working on Chatham, a new SAG TV series written by Amber Karlins, directed by Sonia Blangiardo, and produced by Michelle Romano / Roman Media (shoots in LA and Cape Cod, Fall 2024-Spring 2025). Leigha plays Katie Coleman, a high school student navigating new friendships and town mysteries (Series Regular).
Leigha recently played FBI profiler Alana Kimball (Lead) in Dark Soul River, a SAG independent thriller feature that follows a serial killer's last days, and the discoveries that emerge from his conversation with his last victim's brother. Written and directed by Vijay Rajan (shot March 2025, premieres Fall 2025).
Also wrapping the second block of principal photography in March, Leigha has had the pleasure of playing Grace (Lead) in Entropy, a horror feature film written and directed by Casey Cross (shot in Tennessee, Winter 2024-Spring 2025, premieres Fall 2025).
Later this year, Leigha is also happy to be joining the cast of The Eagle, a new feature film directed by Ben Barlow and produced by Timeless Productions. The film centers around a high school shooting, and the mystery of who is to blame. She is playing Charlotte Terrell (Supporting), the new face of the school's front office staff (shooting begins Winter 2025).
Leigha is thrilled to be returning to her role as Brittany (Lead) in The Moment: Part 2, a second installment of choose-your-own adventure features, produced by Distant Moon Productions (shoot pending 2025).
About:
Leigha is originally from North Carolina. She attended the highly selective senior year high school drama program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. While still in high school, Leigha was a National Semi-Finalist at The English Speaking Union's National Shakespeare Competition held at Lincoln Center in New York City, was nominated by her school board and chosen to attend the North Carolina Governor's School Summer Conservatory studying Theater with a focus in Theatre Composition.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School's Drama Division.

Entropy (Lead), a horror feature film that follows two sisters' investigation into their absent father's remote mountain house. Written and directed by Casey Cross (pending Fall 2025.) Leigha plays Grace, who security is threatened by the events that transpire at the mysterious cabin.
Instinct of Fear ( Supporting Lead), a new psychological thriller feature set in Chicago, about a photographer who thinks she's attracted a stalker when she appears in the photos of an anonymous film development order sent into her lab. Leigha plays Emilie, the protagonist's best friend and business partner at the photo lab. Written and directed by Matthew Brdlik, produced by Jake Bloom (pending Fall 2025).
To Write The Ending, (Lead) a short film written and directed by Shaler Keenum successfully premiered at the Dam Short Film Festival in Boulder City, Nevada, February 2025! The short film has since been making festival rounds, playing already at the Kansas City Film Festival. Upcoming showings include the El Paso Film Festival (September 2025), has also been accepted to the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival (April 2025). Leigha plays Cassiopeia (Lead), a barista who accepts an unexpected date offer that alters time as she knows it.
The Moment: Part 1 The Party (Lead), a choose-your-own-adventure feature, has also won awards at several competitions including Platinum Honors at MarCom Awards, and is currently nominated for a Webby Award in Best Multimedia Storytelling. Leigha plays Brittany, the popular high school senior who aids sophomore protagonist Emily in finding the kind of person she wants to be in the world. Make your choices and play Part 1 here.
